Karleigh Frisbie Brogan is from Sonoma County, California and now resides in Portland, Oregon. She is the recipient of the 2019 Tom And Phyllis Burnam Nonfiction Scholarship and of a 2020 Regional Arts and Culture Council Grant. She is a 2019 Best American Sports Writing Notable Mention, and a 2018 Tin House Summer Workshop Participant. Her writing has been published in The Atlantic, Huffington Post, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, Entropy, NAILED, Lana Turner, Water~Stone Review, and elsewhere. She holds an MFA from Portland State University.
